Strategically led experience innovation studio, with both local and global clients within a wide range of sectors including fintech, education ,NFP, start ups and Govt, is looking for an Experience Design Lead to join their team, on a minimum 3 month contract.

To be suited, you will ideally be experienced in: UX/UI design, interaction design and service design.

Role will be responsible for planning and leading a range of experience design engagements from initial phases of research and discover, through to design execution, iteration and implementation.

You can clearly articulate methods and process to help teams deliver high impact work, on time and within budget and you are comfortable engaging with clients and multidisciplinary teams across all levels of experience and be able to advocate for research-informed and human-centred design.

You are comfortable working across a range of project and problem types, from clearly defined briefs through to ambiguous and complex challenges.

To be suited:
- You have worked previously, ideally within an agency, and if not within consultancy or in-house design team where you have collaborated with both internal and external stakeholders
- You have at least 8 years experience working across different types of product, experience or service design projects
- You have at least 2 years experience as either a senior or lead designer and have proven experience managing and mentoring small teams
- You know your way around Sketch, Figma, Adobe CC, Miro and other industry-standard design tools
- You enjoy creating tangible prototypes using a variety of tools and materials from low-fidelity explorations to fully-formed digital concepts
- You can demonstrate your experience applying qualitative and quantitative research skills across a number of end-to-end projects
- You are passionate about accessibility and inclusive design best-practices and know how to apply them
- You are a storyteller and enjoy communicating your research and design decisions with a range of stakeholders
- You have a positive and experimental mindset and want to actively contribute to helping grow a successful multidisciplinary design practice
