With his first tour to Australia in 14 years going on sale this week, it seems the perfect time to pick up a copy of George Michael's first ever live DVD, 'Live In London'. And let's face it, if you're of (shall we say) 'a certain age', you would've grown up with George Michael as an everyday part of your pop diet, whether it be through his time with Wham! or during his own very successful solo career. Watching 'Live In London' truly does give an impression of just how many hits George Michael has had over the years, including such monsters as 'Fastlove', 'I'm Your Man', 'Faith', 'Freedom', 'Everything She Wants', 'Outside' and, of course, 'Careless Whisper'. Sadly, many of the more suspect Wham! tracks are no where to be found - no 'Wake Me Up Before You Go Go' or 'Club Tropicana' here folks. However, what we do get is a fun, grounded performance that only whets the appetite for when George does finally hit our shores early next year.
