Placebo are to alternative rock as what Pet Shop Boys are to pop music; long time stayers who seem to always deliver roughly around what you were expecting them to. This isn't a bad thing either considering the quality of the music both acts have continued to produce over the years. 'Battle For The Sun' will be a classic Placebo album - full of tortured guitars and even more angst laden vocals, this is Placebo at their noisiest and fullest force. From the opening track 'Kitty Litter' with it's driving chorus through to the more sombre 'Kings Of Medicine', this is the Placebo guys doing what they do best.
