While studying Hospitality and Hotel Management at university I became a beer snob working for Sierra Nevada Brewing Company in Chico, CA. For one summer, through a Non-Profit service learning program, I worked in Germany as an Activities Director on a U.S. army base and travelled throughout Europe on the weekends. To complete my Bachelor of Science degree, I fulfilled a Rooms Division and Front Office Management internship at the Clearwater Beach Marriott Suites in Florida. Still desiring the beach lifestyle, I moved to the Southern California coastline where I started as a Management Trainee and moved up to an Assistant Manager for Enterprise Holdings.
Since my roots come from the San Francisco Bay Area, I decided to relocate closer to my family by moving to the state capital of Sacramento. I became a Project Manager for a large digital graphics production company called Ferrari Color. They were sad to see me leave but happy for my next adventure on moving to Sydney, Australia where I have found my new role with Artisan.
